Living off the grid on Whidbey Island requires my wife and I, to conserve electrical power during the winter months. We own three CAT heaters, the second two purchased after we were quite convinced from the first, that these units are economical to operate, safe, reliable, and effective for small area heating. Have a problem? Arnie will walk you through it in genuine English.
Rich V (email comment after new Platinum CAT installation):
Thanks for the information. I love the heater. I haven't had to use the forced air furnace much, only as supplemental to the Plat Cat on really cold nights. There's absolutely no comparison between the Plat Cat and the forced air furnace. The Plat Cat is an extremely efficient machine. Just the amp hours and propane I've saved has been nice. It's done everything I've expected it to do, and more.

I have to say... I've been in broadcasting for over 20 years and in the electronics field for almost 30, the level of service and professionalism you've demonstrated is seldom seen any more. I can tell you're from the "old school" which is where I came from as well.
Thank-you very much for all your support.
John P of Warsaw, North Carolina (12Vdc LPG model 6P12 owner):
"Can't say enough about my cat especially on those cold winter nights...luv to listen to it purr(exhaust fan) and see it's soft red glow...really helps me fall to sleep. I live in a small trailer (18' X 7') and it keeps a comfortable 70 degrees...I set the thermostat and don't have to worry about it being freezing cold or too hot when I come home. And Arnie was just a pleasure to work with...I have an older model and when it was having issues, he worked with me until we got it right. Great guy...Great product...thanks again Arnie."
Mary from Michigan (6P12 owner ):
"...... by the way, we love the heater you made for us a couple of years back! It operates
Paul, detective (3P12 owner):
"Heater's working great! Would not be without one. Would not part with it at any price.
Take my gun, my cameras, but not my CAT."
Greg, Eastern Washington (3P12 owner):
"We found the heat from the thermistatically controlled CAT was a much more comfortable
heat than the (other heater) that we have been using for the past few years. ......I just
prefer the vent system of the CAT and the thermostat control for comfort and safety...."
Alex Yorkie, Tumwater, Washington (CAT Heater Enthusiast)says:
"I really don't like to be cold, so the Platinum CAT is my best CAT friend. I really hate it when a
